Every invented world needs one object drawn carefully enough that you believe the rest of it. The Excelsior is mine. A swept silver hull with blue wingtips, engines lit orange, crossing the curve of the Earth with a small hard sun behind it and two planets holding their distance. I built it as a digital illustration so that it could be reused across the whole project rather than redrawn each time, and it later ran in the artbook beside its own specification panel. Part of The Fantastic Four: First Dreams.
