HIGHLIGHTS

Vietnamese Spirit · Long Lac Heart Reunion

Oil on canvas | April 2026
A first-year final piece rooted in Vietnamese identity — the painting weaves together the Áo dài, a Lý-Trần dynasty dragon, and the ancient Lạc bird into a single canvas. It began as a school project and became a love letter to a culture I carry everywhere I go.

The Fantastic Four: First Dream Artbook

Publication Design  | december 2025
The Fantastic Four: First Dreams is a fan-art publication celebrating Marvel's First Family through my perspective as a designer. Combining historical research, retrofuturist aesthetics, and original poster designs, this book reflects my passion for editorial design and typography, exploring optimism and the feeling of living alongside superheroes in New York City.

Quickly Dive Into Your Interested Medium

MULTIMEDIA GALLERY

This portfolio contains a wide range of multidisciplinary appoarch throughout my artistic journey.
Please start by selecting your most suitable medium and explore the work there.
Don’t forget to take a look at other mediums as well!

Special Project

I create unified conceptual systems that execute a single narrative theme across multiple disciplines simultaneously. Combining structural painting, character design layouts, digital composites, and copywriting, I construct deep visual experiences that explore complex personal and cultural ideas.

Fine Art

Trained in human anatomy, value relationships, and traditional materials at SVA, I take on detailed fine art commissions and narrative oil portraits.

Digital & Editorial

I produce editorial, commercial, and pictorial illustrations that work equally well on screen and in print — combining digital precision with traditional composition instincts.

Literature

I write the stories behind the work: narrative backstories, mythologies, and artist statements that give each piece a literary and philosophical layer, so viewers leave with more than just an image.

Photography

From technical studio setups and off-camera lighting to post-production and model direction, I bring a full production eye to every shoot.

Motion Graphic

I bring my illustrations to life through After Effects, Lottie, and Rive — turning static work into animated moments built for social media and digital display.

Get To Know My Process Of Making Meaningful Work

BEHIND THE CANVAS

Every piece I make follows the same four-stage process from research and rough sketches all the way through to final rendering and delivery.
Click on each stage to go deeper.

stage i

Ideation Research Mindmap

I initiate a project by conducting conceptual research, organizing reference images, swatches, and structuring narrative ideas to build a solid cultural or stylistic foundation.

stage ii

Sketching Composition Color

Second, I transition into loose anatomical drawing, linear sketching, and digital grayscale then color experimenting to establish grid hierarchies, focal points, and lighting layouts.

stage iii

Material Transferring Rendering

I bring my drafted compositions to life by transferring it into physical canvas setups or building high-resolution digital layers to resolve form, values, and organic textures.

stage iv

Polishment Curation Publication

Finally, I apply the final chromatic and color-shifting, typographic layouts, and structural finishes to format the completed work for high-impact print editions, web layouts, or gallery displays.
