A holiday card is a small promise that somebody thought of you. This one is vertical, built for a phone, and it carries the grain and glow of an old television set. Four flat figures in Santa hats stand inside rounded outlines that recede behind them in orange, red, and teal. A New York skyline sits under my monogram with a line reading presented in Fantastivision. Then the greeting, where the numeral four takes the place of a letter, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, from our family to yours. Part of The Fantastic Four: First Dreams.
