Description

This piece picks up where A Plan in Tan's Hand left off, another mock TIME cover with me on it, this time in charcoal and looking up. Flowers grow by turning toward the sun, and I wanted to be that kind of person, one who keeps facing upward however hard life hits. The cover line says it plainly: no flower grows by staring at the soil. However dark the days get, there is light at the end of them.

Charcoal and graphite drawing of a mock TIME cover, a young man in glasses in profile gazing up toward falling light, with the cover line Look Up! It's Light & Flowers.
